STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. STEAM skills are vital for success in the 21st century. Every job, even the ones you wouldn’t expect, will require at minimum basic STEAM skills.
TECC aims to make students into problem solvers, innovators, inventors, and logical thinkers by providing classes where students can incorporate elements in the field of science, technology, engineering, art and math to learn, create and tackle challenges they may face in the real world.
Such classes cover 3D Graphics, animation, computer programming, chemistry labs and Makerspace-style workshops using products like littleBits and Ozobots.
TECC is opened to input and ideas as we continue to expand our STEAM-based program and we welcome your feedback
